From the book of Darkness, written by Gilean, son and first disciple of Ghibli

Little is known of Ghibli's life, even I, upon whom fell the great honour of being accepted as son and disciple.

Ghibli was born a long time ago, when the Empire was still young, and Gods now forgotten stormed the land: it was the age of Enia, Diana and Locksley, a time in which neither the Nazguls or the Knights of Thunder existed yet, a time in which the fewer lands were known.

Ghibli, an elf with as much beauty as his wickedness and with a very strong inclination towards magic, came to the Capital City of the Empire in search of knowledge and power. Unfortunately his poor constitution prevented him from taking up activities other than new spells. One day he was blessed in seeing in action Karyal and other Nazguls and was greatly impressed by them.

He was still young (having reached the eleventh grade of Magical knowledge) but he advanced his request to the powerful Laisburg anyway, to become a Nazgul. The dark Lord himself advised against it telling him that he was too young to take the three Tests of Blood to enter the Order. But great was Ghibli's desire to enter the Order, too great to give up.

In the presence of the powerful Laisburg he defeated a foe more powerful than himself, such a foe that often killed groups of adventurers of higher levels than Ghibli's own. After this great deed, he had to prove himself worthy in other tasks as well; he also had to bring to Laisburg, the head of the powerful Dracolich, to obtain the honour of becoming a Nazgul, but no task was impossible for him, such was his desire to serve the Dark Lord. I acknowledged him on the day of his Initiation and was stricken instantly by his proudness and resolution. Later I was lucky enough to be accepted as his disciple, and later, after having prooven myself worthy, to become his adoptive son. Karyal himself, of whom Ghibli became a great friend, held the ceremony with which Ghibli's blood mixed with mine for eternity. The decision of Karyal to go and explore new Universes gave him great pain and sorrow, as much as the decision of his dear friend Thunder to follow Ghibli in his deeds. Ghibli decided to stay and give support as one of the oldest Nazguls to his Masters Kirk and Laisburg. Later even Grom, Nazgul and Lord of the Do'Urden, disappeared suddenly. Kirk, considering the labour and the achievements of Ghibli, decided to name him Master of the Nazguls with the title of Voice of Darkness, giving him the task of spreading the Word of Laisburg in all of the Empire.

After the Battle of the Ragnarok, in which Kirk fell fighting bravely against Fouler, Ghibli decided to restore the Nazguls to their ancient status and power. One day maybe we will remember Ghibli as the one who brought the Nazguls to new splendour, for now we remember him as the one who kept them alive in the darkest hours. shelves.
